Delivery, Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy

It generally takes 7–10 business days for delivery. We request you to kindly bear with us, as we always strive to deliver your order at the earliest.

The below-mentioned Cancellation and Return Policies apply to all products sold on the Banarasi Silk Saree website.


Return Policy

  • We allow returns only in case of manufacturing defects.

  • Customers must raise a return request within 2 days of receiving the product, along with clear images of the defective product, by contacting our customer support via email or phone.

  • Once the return request is approved, customers are required to ship the eligible product(s) to our designated address within 7 business days.

  • Upon receipt, all returned/exchange products will be thoroughly inspected by our Quality Check (QC) Team.

  • The QC team holds the sole discretion to decide whether the product qualifies for return or exchange.

  • If a product does not meet our quality standards, it will be returned to the customer, and shipping charges will be borne by the customer.

  • Returned products must be in saleable condition, unused, undamaged, with original folds, packaging, tags, invoice, and receipts intact.

  • Exchanges are processed online only; in-store exchanges are not permitted.

  • Customers must clearly mention their name, order number, and registered mobile number on the package while couriering the product.

  • If a returned product is found ineligible, the customer will be informed via their registered email ID or phone number with further instructions.

Important Note

If you find any issues with the product (such as damage, color shade variation, length issues, etc.), please initiate a return request within 24–48 hours of delivery.
A clear unboxing video is mandatory to help us process the return request efficiently.


Customer Support Details

Product Specifications on Website

  • Product specifications such as color, weight, size, embellishments, and handwork displayed on the website are approximate and not exact. Returns based on these factors will not be accepted.

  • Products with beaded embroidery or sequins may experience minor embellishment shedding, which is unavoidable despite careful handling. Customers are advised to consider this before purchasing.

  • Product descriptions are written creatively and are not grounds for return or exchange.

  • There may be up to 20% color variation due to differences in screen resolution, browsers, lighting, or devices.

  • Garments may appear in different shades under varying lighting conditions; this is normal and not considered a defect.

Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders cannot be canceled once they are processed or approved.

  • In case of technical or stock-related issues, Banarasi Silk Saree reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the amount without prior notice.

  • Cancellation requests must be sent via email to hello@banarasisilksaree.com before order approval, clearly mentioning the subject line for cancellation.

  • If the order is already approved at the time of the cancellation request, it will not be processed.

  • If a customer cancels an order within 24 hours or before dispatch, and there is no defect or damage, store credit will be issued instead of a refund.


Refund Procedure

  • Once the returned product is received and approved as per our policy, the refund process will be initiated within 7–10 working days.

  • Customers may check refund status by contacting our customer support team via email or phone.

  • Refunds for payments made through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI will reflect in the source account within 7–14 business days, depending on the bank.
